Towards carbon neutral

At Riverside Sanctuary we are aiming towards providing our guests with a carbon neutral stay. This is just one way you can reduce your global footprint, and tread more gently on the earth. All our electricity is 100% green energy sourced through Synergy (our local electricity provider).

All water for washing, showers and toilets is provided by underground water and pumped to the homestead by windmill.

All drinking water is natural rainwater.

And for every guest who stays with us we will plant one tree – a long-lived, carbon storing, drought resistant Australian Eucalypt.
